in fact Luna Park in St Kilda where I live in Melbourne has one of the oldest theme parks in the world which opened in 1912. The main historic features of the park to remain include the iconic "Mr Moon" face entry and flanking towers (1912, restored 1999) & the all wooden Scenic Railway Rollercoaster (1912), which is the oldest continuously operating roller coaster in the world for 109 years!
